Restoring Greenery, Inspiring Change

Kuyili Environmental Conservation Organization successfully organized a Palm Seeds Plantation Drive along the serene banks of Emaper Lake, Kallakurichi. The initiative, supported by Municipal Commissioner Mr. A. Saravanan, Municipal Engineer, municipal staff, and 70 NSS students from A.K.T. Memorial College of Engineering and Technology, marked a significant step towards environmental restoration.

Sristi Organization, Chinnasalem, donated 700 palm seeds, all the seeds were sown during the event, reflecting the collective commitment to restoring greenery and enhancing the lake’s ecosystem.

Dr. Suganya from the District Health Centre and Dr. Ragothaman, a naturopathy expert, highlighted the importance of palm trees in combating climate change and promoting sustainable development.

This plantation drive exemplifies the power of collaboration between local government, educational institutions, and conservation advocates. Kuyili Organization thanks all participants and supporters for their dedication to creating a greener and healthier future for Kallakurichi.
