On October 13, 2022, an impactful event titled “Presentation about Birds” took place at Government Middle School in Siruvangur Village, Kallakurichi District. This event, organized by the Kuyili Organization, coincided with “World Wetland Day.”
The central focus of the event was to raise awareness about the significance of birds in our ecosystem. With the participation of 70 students, the event provided a platform to educate young minds about the vital roles that birds play in maintaining biodiversity and the balance of nature.
Held within the premises of Government Middle School in Siruvangur Village, the event aimed to instill a sense of appreciation and responsibility for the conservation of avian species. Through an engaging photo print presentation, the students were introduced to the remarkable diversity of bird species and their essential contributions to pollination, insect control, and ecosystem health.
The presentation not only showcased the beauty and uniqueness of various birds but also emphasized their ecological importance. By highlighting the role of birds in seed dispersal and maintaining ecological balance, the event underscored the intricate connections that exist within nature.
